Large collection for sale... (including blue snaggletooth)

This is a continuation of my collection. I will list some of the loose figures I have plus the rest of my playsets and vehicles. At the moment I only have pictures of some of the loose figures but will take/upload the rest tomorrow.

As I have mentioned it is a large collection which includes a large collection of loose figures (I believe we have all 77 vintage figures but I have not checked all individually) and it would have taken longer than I had to make a list of them all. I took some of the loose figures out of storage, these are:

You realize that some of these have repro weapons (Luke sabers)....and The yoda canes appear to be painted. Strange that you put Leia's cape on vader when it appears you have some star wars knowledge due to owning repro weapons.

I just asked him about this and he said they all are original. Though the luke saber clearly is repro.

Sorry, I have made a couple of mistakes in identifying repros. Which are you refering to by the bespin one?

You realize that some of these have repro weapons (Luke sabers)....and The yoda canes appear to be painted. Strange that you put Leia's cape on vader when it appears you have some star wars knowledge due to owning repro weapons.

That 'Vader in the Leia cape' needs to get with the 'Chewie in a Leia cape' from this thread ( http://www.starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11791 ) what a night of fun they would have

I am going to lock this thread for a couple of reasons, firstly there are repros in the mix with no mention
of them being repros and that is definitely NOT cool and also because behind the scenes there seem to
be talk of Howard having (and offering members) certain rarer figures which he says he has in multiples
which may or may not be true.

Howard, I would suggest that if you wish to stick around on this forum and sell your collection you need
to take pictures of the actual figures on offer, no behind the scenes selling with unseen figures.

I would also suggest that people proceed with caution and make sure you are covered before sending money.

Howard - you are free (for the time being) to open another FS thread when you:

A) Weed out the reproductions - so these are not then passed on to genuine collectors
B) Get an idea of your prices so you can try and list what you want for things rather than take offers
C) Make sure everything you want to sell here is pictured

Just trying to be polite (don't know why :lol: :lol: )

Thankfully you can spot these things from a photo and warn us (experience is everything, I have never had a repro saber). I need to see them, scratch them, drop them, float them, compare them and then spend an hour on TIG before I hazard a guess.

The 2 points I am being pulled up for here are the repro. weapons and the 'behind the scene selling'. I will first defend myself against the first point, and then the second because as I have shown previously I am a genuine, honest collector/seller and am not intentionally misleading or being dishonest. This is now the second time I have defended myself against accusations but I will continue to defend myself because all you have to do is ask or raise an issue and will provide the best information I have available, any pictures you want as proof and stay in contact and ensure that nothing is going wrong or that you have any problems - I am not here to just try and rip people off then disappear, if I was surely I would have just gone after I got bollocked for the ebay listing thread.

1 - I do not have a good knowledge of repro weapons, the only evidence I can provide in this case is that ewok13 raised an issue with me about it and I told him that to my knowledge they were genuine originals (which was true) and when this thread promted me to rethink I retracted the statement, apologised and offered to take any pictures theyt wanted for them to better judge themselves. This was accepted and appreciated which ewok13 can back me up on. In the future I will just state that I am not good with repros so if you identify one in a picture I will take a new picture with the repro removed.

2 - By behind the scenes selling it means that I am accused of only picturing one yak face but offering multiple yak face figures to members at different prices behind the public thread This is basically true but not in any way me trying to rip anyone off. I have 3 yak face figures, 2 of which are discoloured so I did not want to list them until I started listing my beaters (because as I have often stated, it is a large collection and I am not listing everything at once) but when a number of people showed interest in the figure I told them that I had more if they were interested because I was aware I could only sell the pictured figure to one member. As to the different prices part of the accusation see the picture below of the 3 figures, you will see the condition worsen from near mint on the right to severely discoloured on the left so of course they are not going to be the same price (you will notice that the badly discoloured figure on the left is the one in the original picture which was an accident because I had only meant to list the figure on the right but took the picture of the wrong one)

Any further issues or questions I am here to answer because I can, I am not a liar and am not trying to con anyone which hopefully I have proved here

I am no longer selling this collection for a while as I have just got a puppy and she is chewing through everything so I cannot keep any of the collection (safely) at home and it is proving hard to find the time to go out to storage every time someone wants pictures/condition info/etc.

If you have already sent me a PM and we have discussed/decided on prices then the sale will go ahead, it is just for anyone wanting to buy from this point on
