As my focus is getting bigger I'm wondering whether to label my carded figures, was thinking a business card size with the card name on next to the moc... What do people think? More importantly anyone already done this?

Was thinking of something similar for my loose collection when they ard in the cabinet on protech stands and cards infront

I think he means more the variant of card ie, palitoy, toltoys & and cardbacks 65, 77 back ect.

I reckon it's a great idea as a lot of the Jedi and ESB cards have Kenner on the front even if they are from a different country and have only minor differences that most non collectors have trouble telling apart.

That's a great idea, may I suggest making the little display cards 1 1/2 X 3 sort of like a museum display card. Nice idea SpookedHippie :D it would make your collection look class 8)

I just might borrow that idea when I start to display my loosies

I get it. Yeh, sounds like a thing to do. I you don't constantly rearrange your collection (like me) then it might make the set up more interesting if you want to show off variants, etc.

I toyed around with this idea several years ago, but in the end I just took the labels off and opted to track everything in my own database. Amazingly, the old picture is still live, so you can see my Shawn_K authority label.

I thought about this too once but then I thought..I know what everything is and I am one of the only people that ever looks at my collection anyway..so who would the labels be for?

I agree it could look cool and a bit like an exhibition but in all honesty if it's just you, your family and your friends who occasionally look at your collection is it worth the trouble?

Lol I like it shawn!

Joe, I'm thinking it wouldn't be too much work, at least I hope so and thinking saves me having to take the carded out of the cabinet to double check which particular back it is
