Knights of the Empire @ W5 - Belfast 4th-5th October

I'll be taking the camera tomorrow might snap a few pics of you guys and your toys.

And if I don't get something new for my RG collection, there will be a massacre.

Had a great day today, extremely busy. ****ing unbelievable what people will buy

Came home with 5 nice carded figures (pics tomorrow) and met Phantom Shadow too :D Sound man ;)

@ Weasel - Show starts tomorrow at 12 and finishes at 5

I was surprised at the crowd at the show. Although if you took all the kids away it would have been a lot different - pesky kids, ruin everything.
Was cool meeting Coco and Robbie - for all of 5 mins before it got busy.

Got to admit though, I got bored really quick. Met up with you guys, went for a walk, back to you guys then went and got some autographs. So I did a lot of standing about at Robbie's stall since Darren was there but didn't really get to talk so I spent most of my time checking out the ladies. :D
So basically after walking around it a few times I basically saw everything and after 3 hours, decided I had had enough. Might have been different if I was with someone.

As I say, impressed with the crown - wasn't expecting that. But 3 stalls and 3 guest actors, compared to 500 stalls and maybe 50 guests at Memorabilia, its understandable why I got bored.

Also way less pesky kids at Memo!!

Half-assed Star Wars show didn't have 1 RG anywhere!!! Nearest to "royal" was the QE2 sailing up the lough (which someone pointed out as "there's the ferry coming in"

Just been down myself. Like you I was amazed at the crowd and yeah, there were too many kids. But then I don't like kids at the best of times so 1 kid is too many for me (insert your own joke about me liking younger women).

I didn't bother looking round too much, said hello to Coco and Robbie, but they were pretty busy so I didn't get a chance to have a decent chat. After that I just wondered around and then headed home. Robbie musta made a fortune though! Fair play to him!

Sales wise it was great :D Got rid of nearly all the remainder of my modern collection (1 box left :D) and quite a few others bits that I had gathered up along the way. Robbie did well and we are both very happy with how it went. Just wish we had brought a lorry load of light sabers with us as 99% of the chaotic kids that were there wanted one

Downsides to the show were that I never got to see any of the attractions, was on my feet all day and we had a limited space to work from with kids knocking stuff over everywhere :? Though I really can't complain about the space as it was given to us for free, thanks to the guys from Knights of the Empire.

Other than that it was fairly enjoyable and it was cool to meet Darth-Fusion, Phantom Shadow and ofcourse Weasel  Hopefully get to chat with some of you guys again in a less mental surrounding.

Oh! Nearly forgot :? Met Gerald Home who played Squidhead and one of the Mon Calamari Officers in ROTJ, really nice guy who was more than prepared to stop and chat, sound man.

Forgot to mention. They actually sold something like 20000 tickets for Saturday and Sunday was really busy too but I never heard anything about how many tickets they sold today.

Very impressive turn out for a show in Belfast!

All of you went an no-one took any pictures?!

Please post some up! :)
