yeah ,its getting tough now as i have most of the cheap ones.got sorted out big time with the ben and yoda of ron (nicest man in scotland)and i have a free klatuu coming ....i think off weasel though its took a little detour to go with the akbar i got free of sith 8) 8) many thanks lads
should soon have a paploo ,leia hoth ,hoth trooper and reeyees then i am gonna save up and just work my way through from luke farm boy to yak face
 
Your going to have a good collection jabba when its finished. There still quite a few cheap damaged carded figures out there

you can get most at a decent price ,its mainly yak and fett that seem to always drag big money

yeah we have done bedroom out and its got a light with about 8 60 watt bulbs in ,on a dimmer so thought it would be better

dont know but i saw a jedi card go for about £50 so hopefully i,ll drop on
 
Im not a major endorser of your card opening but i give you credit for not having sent any to AFA for loose grading.

i do wonder myself sometimes but then i remember how many repros are out there and how many people descibe figs as mint when there c7 .
as for afa this collection is for me and will hopefully be looked after by my off spring when i,m long gone so i dont need to pay some yank to give it a grade that on another day he may grade different just to put price up

The Biker Scout opening did come as a surprise but ive learned to cope by upping my meds!


the biker scout stayed on card for ages .........but i final broke :cry: to weak

I think I have a blatantly recarded, and piss poorly recarded at that, 4-Lom somewhere but I'd put money on the fact his weapon is a repro. Plus I have no idea where it is, in a box.........somewhere!
 
I did exactly the same thing for loose collection. I was the only way to be defo sure of original weapons and no funny business.

When I started to collect loose figures again in pre internet days, finding original weapons was hard. There were defo more repros out there and most people were happy to state so, however now on ebay I find it amazing that almost every figure auction 'has it's original weapon'

Anyways, if it helps, I do have two beaters where the bubble have smashed sliced off the top, but the figures not removed. I can vouch for these two as they were sealed until a nasty incident at Collectormaina led to those and a Han Carb to be smashed through the bubbles.

I've also got baggies of Stormtopper, Hoth Stormtrooper, Nien Nunb and a Gammorean Guard if that helps too?
