What I cant get my head around and understand is why have all these people come forward over 1 year after his death. Why not straight away within the first week?? Month?? Why now he's passed on?? I am actually getting fed up of hearing this on the news. Dont get me wrong, if what they all say happened is true it is horrible, but how can you say something like that and the other person is not here to defend themselves. Anybody could say anything about anyone who has passed away. Also, what is getting a chunck of his estate as comp going to do. Will that miraculously make it all better??

Have you watched the youtube video...he was a pedo twat, and because he had "power" its been covered up, personally i think all of his 4million fortune should be split between the victims, wish the dirty twat was still alive to be humiliated or killed at least

This is exactly what I was getting at in my original posts. Is the guy a monster? Yes probably. But very convenient that all these people now want millions of pounds from somebody that can't defend themselves. If they're lying, they're worse than him.

Gotta say I was sick of the whole Jimmy Saville thing a day after it broke. He was a paedophile. We get it! But he's ****ing dead! What do people want, us to dig him up, re-animate his body and make him pay for his crimes? Do they want everyone who worked at the BBC, Leeds hospital and anywhere else he may or may not have abuse children, to be sacked from their jobs and burnt at the stake!?

I'm not belittling what he did, paedophilia is ****ing disgusting, no sane person sees it as anything other than revolting. But HE IS DEAD!

When I heard that they had frozen his estate the cynic in me just thought "And NOW we see why so many people have come forward!" I'm sure the majority are genuine, and what happened to them is vile, but taking money from his estate 10, 20, 30, 40 years it happened.............is that suddenly going to make you better? Will that make him suffer? Obviously, the answer to the second question is "no, cos he's dead!"

If the money was to go to charity (I havent heard what was planned for it) then it's even worse. Rather than it going to do some good, it will be swallowed up by legal bills of the ambulance-chasing solictors who take on the case of the victims. Yes, the money will help them rebuild their lives somewhat, but I'd put a lot of money on the fact that 40%+ of what they win gets eaten up in legal bills. Surely that could be better spent by ANY charity!?

I very much doubt many of them need help rebuilding their lives after 40 years! IMO the majority should go to charity, with the rest leaving his family/children secure. They didn't do anything wrong and shouldn't lose it all.

Exactly Weasel - there will be lawyers rubbing their hands together right now. Plus the fact that I am sure that they will get to sue the BBC as well - so all of us will suffer with license costs going up and quality of service going down.

i know there will be a lot of leechs jumping on the bandwagon with this but i genuinely believe that some of thoise young 11-13yrs olds that were raped by jimmy savillie deserve to strip his money, and as for the bbc i couldnt give a **** if they get sued, especially if they covered up and let him rape kids in the dressing rooms

We are all entitled to our opinions for sure. Truth is the problem stems way back, generations ago. So are we all going to keep living in the past OR learn from the mistakes and fix them for the now? We can only move forward and the 'right' way is to be true & honest with first yourself, then in tern with others leading to helping to tidy up the mess we made on this beautiful planet we call 'Earth'.

But that's just my opinion, what do I know.

You know Chris, I posted the exact same thing on my FB status and got so much grief from women over it, about them being afraid as he was alive or it was covered up or embarrassed about it, but again why wait a whole fkn year and why so many hundreds wait a whole fkn year, sure it looks like the majority are telling the truth but the question really is why now ?

As with Freddie Starr, whether he groped the girl or not which I bet he did, he said in an interview, why did she go to the media and not the police because if you have been assaulted, its the police you go to........alot of it is now about getting a free ride......I also find it very hard to believe the Leonard Rossiter had a wank while guys were raping another guy.....
