I have been trying to put together some pbp variants of late and had my eye on this rebel commander i decided i wouldent go for it when it got to £118 and the reserve had not been met! What i want to know is do they always go for this sort of money? there were a couple more i was watching like the luke bespin that went for over the odds!

Just like Adam's variants, Sergio's sold for top dollar.

better priced Commander

Luke Bespin can be bought for $50 if you're patient & the 4 LOM does not show up for sale often ( best price I've seen is $300)

Is it worth that much?

It depends how you value things. The Rebel Commander with black boots is certainly a very rare PBP variant so in some ways it's not surprising.

However, it is a Rebel Commander - not the most exciting of figures in my opinion. And brown boots V black boots - not the most exciting variation either. I personally wouldn't pay that kind of money for a PBP Rebel Commander. Just my opinion though. :)
