Is this coin offer sticker common on a Rancor box?

Hey Emi,

Seen a few coin offer stickers on boxed stuff, there was a Jabbas Dungeon playset recently with the sticker too.

I am not 100% sure if the offer was supposed to include boxed toys or be exclusively stuck on just the action figures but you rarely see them on boxed items.

I like them but I wouldn't go mad on trying to obtain one, it could well be a case of a random employee stickering up everything he saw :lol:

Definitely worth trying to pick up Emiel. The coin offer is not common on the boxed toys at all. I've seen the Dungeon Joe posted, a speeder bike, and a Tie Interceptor. I'm sure there are others out there, but those were all one off examples so far.

That is a nice gesture, I only just twigged the fact that it works for Shawn's coins and his LJ focus at the same time!

Back to coin offers on boxed toys- Still not 100% sure the offer was meant to be put on vehicles and playsets but anything is possible I suppose!

Yeah I had Shawn in mind when I first saw this because of the LJ connection but I just figured out the coin link as well.

The price sticker on the coin offer lends some credibility I think, but we have seen that used to cover up damage and such in the past.

It just strikes me as odd. I guess anything is possible....but wouldnt the figures have been molded and packaged in a different area than the vehicles and playsets?.....Just too easy of a sticker swap for me.

The coin offer sticker was applied at retail Todd, so factory assembly/location doesn't really matter on this one. I think it's just a case of a few boxes being stickered up willy nilly by employees at various retail stores.

The possibility is always there for a sticker swap with something like this or even another collector putting a sticker on the box. The coin offer stickers were applied at retail like Joe said. The rolls of stickers were put in the Kenner shipping cases with the MOCs and I know some unused rolls still exist. That's why I personally wouldn't pay a huge premium for something like this, but I do think it would be fun to own an example.

I could see an employee sticking this on anything...if that is the case with the rolls just packed seperately. Not a factory error but a retail one.
