As a fair priced courier service to Europe for a high value item, been looking for ages with sod all luck.

Got a parcel thats 9kg max size 53 x 53 x 53 which I can send for under 20 quid

Add the 2.5 k insurance on it & the best quote I have found so far is an astronomical 170 :shock:

WTF am I doing wrong?? same size & weight item from holland to hear was 50 euro with 5500 euro cover

Britain the land of opportunity eh, well it is if your a bloody courier :?

I can't answer your question specifically, but I hear your pain. Sending the same size item back and forth from Canada to the US (similar distance as UK to Holland) costs MUCH more for me to send than to have it sent to me.

Postal systems suck.

Frank I think I've used DPD's euro service before. Sent 50 X singles to Italy before and they were about 7kgs and a big box for protection. Only cost about £22 BUT I didn't get any insurance with that. I would have thought the extra £30 would have bought you the required cover.
