Is modern music actually crap?

Heard a few on the radio this morning and then realised where i've heard them before - on TV commercials. Many a decent tune have been ruined by over airing on TV adverts.

Watched a TV programme last night on Motown, which reminded me just how good, influential and fantastic that music was and still is.

One of my all time favourites is My Girl and the perfect song that was and is Heard it through the grapevine by Marvin...what a song. The whole Motown movement was amazing and the music that came out of it is IMO something that will never happen again...a pivotal moment in music.

99% of modern music is crap.

I like about 2 songs per year.

This years two are:

Savoire Amour : Dreamers

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qH4ryqWze6U

Imagine Dragons : I'm on top of the world.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5tWYmIOWGk

Time yet for another. :D

(PS: I know they aren't from this year, but I never heard them before. :D )

Been listening to these two albums recently, if you like jangly 80s/90s, they're newish (well last few years anyway)

LOL, I know I was only messing with ya, who could like Ketchup and Mash... Now I just tried Haggis, neeps and tatties for the first time last year and it actually wasn't too bad.

Stone Roses tunes are awesome. Gotta love Fools Gold and One Love the most tho. if you like them then you need to go back to the start of Ian Browns solo music and get his first album "Unfinished Monkey business" and start from there. 8)
