Is it worth me joining Rebelscum?

As the others have said you've feck to lose by joining. It's another forum to keep an eye on for items you want. Chances are if you read enough of the threads you'll see some prime wankers making mountains out of mole hills and BS arguments, but as you're only looking for sources that won't affect you.


Ohh and the Mod's over there actually do stuff and aren't as pathalogically lazy as me!

I would say yes. I was originally a member of TIG only until Liam recommended I join here, the same happened with RS again another recommendation (sorry can't remember who??).

I have sales threads on all 3 sites, as they all cater for different markets, for example....

SWFUK - Mainly UK users / mainly Kenner/Palitoy stuff for sale.

Rebelscum - Alot of internation users / Various stuff for sale / Strict forum rules

TIG - Smaller userbase / international users / excellent foreign variant knowledge & guides available.

If you don't agree with my comments don't worry they are only my opinions, I do not wish to offend anyone.

At the end of the day I sell/buy worldwide on all 3 sites, I collect foreign variants so alot of the time RS/TIG normally offer more stuff for me to buy.

I think you are spot on. Different boards have different flavours of collecting.

Rebelscum - pre production / prototype / Bootlegs / MOCs
Imperial Gunnery - Foreign / variants and lately bootlegs
SWFUK - MOCs / Palitoy / General banter

I spend most of my time on Rebelscum and then SWFUK. There's probably more being discussed over there due to a greater number of members and how long its been going for. MODs are stricter and there are some real over opinionated tossers. Hopefully I'm not one of them - although i probably am

It's always nice when i recognise a few SWFUKers joining in over there.

Worthwhile joining, I remember wayyyy back in the day rebelscum was the first site i joined, and a nice friendly chap called Gary Smith helped me with various noob questions and ofc pointed me the way of a UK based site.

As other have says, classified is a great section, reference superb and there is a lot of great peeps about.

Join, have a look but no banter, banter gets ya banned

Yeah... Have been unbanned........well I think . I do not think they like my brand of humor as it is far from PC. I will probably get banned because I can not help but express my opinion on matters and most of the time it does not follow the same thinking as the group that know better than me....none of you guys included of course.

She was trying to front and say all her stuff was original, when infact she had repro fakes mixed in. And everyone that tried to help her out and point it out to her she went down their throats. And she kept insisting that they were real. It's crazy thou cause she admitted it at one point that she did have some reproduction stuff. I myself couldnt tell because i am still a padawan in collecting vintage. But it's what ever, us collectors help each other out. And I think it's bull if you can't add a reply to someone's post.
