Is it true, in graded items that are stored in plastic wrappers make the bubble turn yellow?? Read it somewhere and thought I see if anyone else have the same thought.

Never heard that before, but I suppose it depends on the plastic the moc is exposed to,, acid free archival Mylar would be a good choice whereas the chemicals in a cheap plastic wallet for example may over time react with the plastic bubble... :?

Where did u read that :?:

I read it on an eBay listing, I think!! I saw a post here or RS previously talking about breathing or air pockets in loose graded items so if this is the same for MOC and you have it wrapped in plastic, so there is no circulating air, could it be true? :D

Possibly? Apparently it is v important to have that air flow circulation in place to keep the encased pieces fresh. I think about this with some of my pieces that r in ungraded(unsealed) acrylic cases  Then again those cases are not air tight but I still open them up from time to time.

Well my collection is all boxed up and wrapped in plastic bags so I'm thinking I'll have a nice yellow set of reseals once I get them out of storage. At least when I do get back to them I'll be able to let people on here know if it was a really bad idea to store them like this (got to look on the positives! :D )
