I had another shite experience again on eBay , I bought a what was described as a mint , beauty fully sealed 12 back sand people , which would grade high . In reality I got an cracked and damaged bubble with the bubble coming away from the cardback.

When I told the seller this was not mint but poor condition moc , he told me he disagreed and it was good condition, mad he was an expert .

I am starting to buy less and less on eBay , this is the 3rd poor item , I have got in 6 weeks

Steve

File a complain, get your money back, leave him a neg and flame him.

Sorry to read about that steve, some years ago I had the same problem on ebay 1/3 of the items that I bought was only problems.

Missing items, repro weapons, damaged goods or wrong items

I have not bought so much on ebay lately only a few items and there has not been any problems with them :D

I hope you get your money back :)

I blame Toy Hunter, they watch one episode and suddenly they're an expert  In all seriousness though I do hate misleading bell-ends only out to get a mint item price for a piss poor item! I find they use clever camera angle to hide the damage - so that's why I message them to ask can they add a picture of a certain angle, And if they refuse, then you know they're trying to hide something.

That to bad Steve, hope you can return it and get your money back.

Sometimes you can score good deals on eBay, other times you get a piece off crap for your money... Ebay is always a gamble. If you want to prevent this disappointment, why don't use the forums or facebook groups to buy what you are looking for?
Sure sometimes you might have to expect to pay a little more, but at least you know what you buy.

Thanks guys ,

I have already requested a return and contacted ebay , the biggest thing that pissed me off was he said everyone is trying to get a perfect card for a cheap price , it cost me £600 for a piece of crap . I don't know what planet he is on but £600 is a lot of money in anyone's world

The other issue is came from USA and I had to pay £180 customs , which I need to claim back , the whole thing is crazyv

Steve

i stopped buying carded figures because they kept arriving damaged, i only bought 7 on different occasions but only 2 out of those arrived fine, put me off them for good.

Their some right tools out their, if your after a nice 12 back I've got a nice boba fett factory sealed only been used once.

Facebook is full of wantabe experts and dealers - the current demand brings them all out of the woodwork

Wow Steve i hope you can recover your 180£ from customs Back aswell.
I would be mad to.
Next time by from a forum member, and avoid those pest customs fees and dissapointments from shitty Moc's.

Just wanted to add:

Holy fook, i just Exchanged currency to euro's to get a better idea what you paid. For 780£ you should have at least an AFA80 12 Back Sandpeople and then i still think you would have paid On the high Side...

Defo agree £600 should have got you a afa75 sand people ,or that kind of condition what you have described seems £50 worth ,get your dough back mate

Whoa  you just through that right out there and I totally agree but know better than to listen to all the those fine experts but unfortunately not every does :(

Sorry you had to have this happen Steve. Good luck in getting a graded one, if you decide to, and hope it doesn't cost you too much more money for that fancy case and holographic sticker
