i'd have thought there's a good chance that in 5 years or so they may be quite sought after in america or any other countries that don't have woolworths.

I have a feeling america do have woolworths but i know the vader figure is a UK only exclusive. :D

Nice collection, they look really nice! Shame you cant touch them though!

Twofoot - I didnt pick up any of those Vaders....

Looking good Inza 8) Some very nice new additions.

Do you have a target for grades? When I started I said I wouldn't buy lower than AFA 85 but have since bought several AFA 80's and one AFA 75 :?

Lovely looking collection Inza! What sort of grades are they? Mind saying what the grades of the white figures are, and IG? Cheers.
I have hopes to get a set myself but so far only have six or so. I am aiming for high graded ones but they get so damned expensive. I think you have the largest loose AFA collection I've seen. Kudos 8)

Thanks Guys it has taken some searching :)

Do you have a target for grades

Cocofstar - i didnt but now i am 'getting' into the loose AFA side of things i do. I am really trying to get at least 85's and 90's, not really hung up about the U classification. More importantly to me though, and it has recently developed, is that i am trying for a collection of non HK COO i.e i am after No COO, TW COO, and/or China COO. At the moment this is more important and difficult than the grades.

Hi Rudyard, thanks a lot - the Stormtrooper is AFA90 China COO, Snowtrooper is AFAU85 with HK COO so will be going when i can find a No COO, Leia Organa is AFA85 HK COO she will stay as the chances of me finding an alternate COO at a resonable price is slim (i think), and the IG is a Silver IG AFA90 No COO.
I wanted the Silver IG as i think he looks better than the Grey IG and has a better sculpt, as i understand it.

I will also have to take a closer picture of the C3PO as he is AFAU90 and i just cannot believe how shiny he is.

The lowest grade is Han in Hoth which is a U80 but he has No COO so i might keep him unless i can find a higher grade one.

The remainder are split about 50/50 between 85's and 90's with some U grades amongst them. As i start to change the HK COO ones for the other COO then i will only exchange for a higher grade as well, unless it is a 90 as a 95 grade will just be silly money and i might as well buy a carded one.

great collection inzaman , how much do loose afa figures go for and would it be cheaper to buy carded ones that have not been graded

They vary, the most expensive so far has been the C3PO (original) at Ã'£70 but it is a U90. Finding a carded one and getting it graded for less than that would be quite difficult i think. There's also the risk that it might not achieve the 90+ grade.

You can strike it lucky and buy a loose one and send it to be graded but you need a few together to make it worthwhile. I brought the Wicket and Han Bespin for about Ã'£12 for the pair and they both got 90 grades (not U as they were loose).
