That is a serious find! :shock: ... and once again a great interview Joe.

I have mixed feelings about the find having read about it. It's clearly amazing to know its there and again to speculate and dream of what might be left in the loft. It must have been such an adventure and so exciting to unearth such a find; mind blowing really.

It is a shame that he hasn't been back or made contact since though, with as many as 2k MOCs sitting there... if not just as a dealer, then to pass on details of other dealers/collectors that the seller might want to speak to. It just feels its sitting and waiting to cost to the collecting community all over when it probably goes to over-publicised auction which will help to hike the prices one more notch and could take them out of the hands of normal collectors

Great read. I managed to bag a few of these last year that are sitting in my collection including a mint Han Solo. He sold them on Facebook and Gumtree at reasonable prices. I guess with 86 figures sold and some rare ones in there he'll have made a nice little profit.

I saw them on FB as well but didn't know the details at all.

It would be great to document the contents of the sealed boxes although I'm sure they're pretty random.

Hmm with the guy going quiet on the selling side and the rumours that Vectis is sitting on shedloads of Star Wars stuff, I wonder if the two things are linked?

It would be pretty daunting for anyone to try and sell that much stuff so perhaps he's gone with the easy "get someone else to do it" route instead?

Unless Vectis bleed them over a couple of years to hide their greater numbers. That way the market won't be flooded and the seller can make more money.
