Interesting to see what this might go for...

I'm not sure exactly what RebelScum's policy is regarding calling out live ebay auctions. But in view of this thread:
http://threads.rebelscum.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB29&Number=3179843&Forum=f29&Words=Luke%20u90&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Main=3179843&Search=true&where=sub&Name=&daterange=1&newerval=1&newertype=m&olderval=&oldertype=&bodyprev=#Post3179843
I reckon it will be quite interesting to see what price this U90 Luke Farmboy (Brown hair) ends up going for (if Robbie is prepared to let it go):

It started at £1,200 but has been reduced. I would love it myself but there's no way I can afford it!

Incidentally, are we okay on this board to do this generally? Don't want to piss people off who may have been watching auctions hoping that others may not notice!

I really think the whole U grade thing is well overated. Now I like what AFA do but I wouldn't purposely buy anything U Graded for myself. Whats the difference other than the price?

I can see this going for mad money though, maybe £400 or £500. Robbies just fishing he'll reel the price in gradually until someone bites

I wouldn't worry too much about highlighting buy-it-nows like this, just use your discretion. I guess if you know theres certain figures or cardbacks that people are focusing on and they have been poorly listed or started on 99p listings then its slightly different. If I spot anything I know members here might be after then I usually drop them a pm.

The difference between RS and this site is not many of us can afford to blow such a huge amount of money on one item !!

There was a blonde haired U90 Luke sold a few months ago by Cloud City which was BIN for around £250 which seemed cheap at the time as AFA loose figures were new and expensive.

Took the words right out of my mouth Simon!

Don't see the point in taking figures off cards to get the U-rating aswell, if the card is way past it and the bubble dropping off then yeah by all means take the figure out and display him/her but to get them graded is ridiculous to me?? :?
