Hi guys I have found some strange stickers on some of my boxes :?

I would love to know what they means and what they are ?

Have any of you guys seen such a sticker before or maybe they can only be found on boxes sold in Denmark ? :?

Hi Lars I think there was a similar thread recently. They look like stock stickers that are put on by the shop indicating storeroom position. For example, aisle number, shelf number etc

Thanks mate :D Any links ? I have searched after stickers from december and november but I can't find anything about this kind of stickers.

Do you remember how many months ago since you saw the thread ?

A shop called Argos over here used to use similar stickers to label items. Rich is probably right. The code on the sticker probably was used as an identifier/ picking number in the shop/ warehouse. If it was a mail order piece and was stocked in a warehouse, each serial number correlated to a different item. This would prevent the wrong items being sent out to folk and speed up the picking process for the warehouse workers as the rackings would be code co-ordinated.

Chris.

Thanks guys, so now comes the big question.

I have found this stickers on boxes from different toy stores in denmark and no one of them did mail order. Some of the stickers are found on boxes from some of the biggest shop stores in denmark. So are the stickers from a big warehouse before they was sold to a store ? and why are they not on all boxes ?

Maybe I have missed something. But I have always thought the stores bought them from kenner, palitoy etc. etc. etc. but I have also heard about a company called Brio who sold star wars to denmark, sweden and Norway.

Not mail order Lars. More like a small warehouse in a shop. Like a big stockroom.

Oh now I understand it. But does that mean, If I find 2 boxes that are the same, then the no. should match ?

Not really. They may be stored in one location then when the next delivery arrives a different location. Depends on storage room

Oh could be fun to compare the stickers

I will take a look to see what I have, I also think I have some cardbacks with those stickers on
