Fingers crossed you find something decent in the new years, at least now you get a decent few weeks over Xmas to sit back relax and get your head showered. (Is that last bit a Norn Iron phrase, or does it translate for you lot on the other island?)

Got my settlement documents on email today and off to see my solicitor on Thursady to get it all checked out.
Speak soon guys - i will probably be off line for a few days whilst i get this sorted.

Sorry to here about you losing your job Steve.
Times are certainely tough at the moment, i work for the NHS and we got a email today to say our hospital needs to find 11 million pound before the end of March next year or there will be major staff cutbacks.
They also said they are laying off 99 workers straight away.
The moral in our department at the moment is at a all time low as they try to squeeze the last ounce of energy out of us.
The thing is it's a job and at the present time you have to put up with the **** and management know it.
Steve: I hope 2010 has a better start than 2009 as ended for you.

Mu misses was off work today so we went to the Gloucester Docks area and the Gloucester Antiques Centre. Thought i would treat myself to a few cigarette cards as i have a fondness for the old Batman pink backs. I bought 5 today including no's 1 & 2 (batman and robin).
And you are right 20backdPb - a job is a job at the moment. Going to start looking seriously from 4th Jan. Pretty much anything will do at the moment. Just need money coming in.
