Lee I'm having a rough time of it too mate, so your not alone. We split a few weeks ago after 7 years but we have a young boy and it was hell I missed him too much. So we seem to be giving it a go and I'm putting loads of effort in but its hard work, she just took advantage wanting me to buy her some jimmy choos (really expensive shoes) instead of the romantic weekend I suggested one minute and saying she doesn't consider us back together the next and shes a free agent after I stay over. Its all I sould do to bite my lip and not tell her to just do one at times! Its getting better though slowly but I agree you can't apologise for an easy life the whole time, in the end I got fed up and said look if your not commited to working through then I'm not going to bother and 24 hours later she calls saying she's sorry and we're doing all right now...for the moment!
