I am going to be on a program on the tv RE star wars

I was approached late last year about a possible documentary on UK TV regarding 70s Toys I dismissed it as really i was not that interested , the researcher had seen one of my channels and Initially wanted to get a master copy of an advert i have in my collections! further discussions has lead to some of my collection being shown and some of us collectors will be in the 2 hour documentary its going to cover the 70s toys and the full collection hobby covering all aspects of it I was chatting with the researcher and pointed out that woman who partake in the hobby sometimes get treated a little differently and this will be incorporated in to the program as well i told her some of the instances where iv been sexually discriminated at collectors fairs and on web sites and she was interested in what i had to say I did there are 3 sites in particular that i will be talking about in the program how it happened and what was said , its still early days and i am not a 100% sure and i dont fancy my stuff being manhandled lol but some of the filming will have to be done in my collectors room , some years back my bionic collection was shown on a UK program that Lindsay Wagner was on Happy days indeed eh .

Is this the very same forum i started posting on all friendly chatting and posting my stuff then out the blue i was accused of being some han guy that posted on here ages ago? the way i flipped out was a direct result of the way i was treated this site likes a laugh? correct? likes a bit of smut talk iv seen it I prove who i am with me posing with a star wars item and all of a sudden your holier-than-thou attitude arises It was a woman in a bra is was hardly grotesque porn , just let me enjoy my hobby and have a laugh i am even willing to forgive and forget just let me get on with it

You will have noticed that pretty much everyone on this site has been ignoring you since your return. You have at least three pretty similar pictures in the latest additions thread and have only had one or two comments.

You have now started this thread where basically you state that you have been victimised by forums - such as this - and that you have been asked to appear on TV to tell people about how that feels.

What I don't understand is why you even bother to post on here. From what I can see, no-one is really interested in discussing things with you and in the past you have reacted badly to any form of discussion - or have made posts that, in my opinion, are simply to shock and annoy.

I love this forum and think that those that post on here are a great bunch - generally they are very friendly and this is a great place to learn about vintage Star Wars. I am not sure what you want out of posting on here but your attempts, so far, to fit in have been pretty disastrous. This thread definitely doesn't help.

But they accused me of not being me in the first instance was i not right in trying to defend my self? i post on loads of forums iv nothing to prove and others opinion on my latest buys dont really interest me to be frank i buy them because i personally want to Not to win points, there are some nice people on here the guy who runs it is lovely i love sharing my stuff and i love seeing other people stuff its great id prefer to fit in but thats a two way thing I am not perfect and i do have health problems and can fly off the handle but basically i am a nice soul .

On a more serious note - you will never fit in here IMHO as you are to highly strung & take every little thing said to heart when a lot is as you have already noted above :roll: is said in jest, if you can not distinguish between the 2 I suggest you join a forum that is more suited to your thinking like flower arranging or politics.

Everyone is ignoring you for good reason & you just can't help fanning the flames & as a result
