Hi all,

Came across this figure today:

KGrHqJgwE287pY6FBN75JmjNZ_12.jpg

Now I know it's a hybrid card but what is the bit directly below the ROTJ logo and above the Bib name (another black space with TM written in it)??? Is it just a mistake? I've looked at Joe's site and didn't see any hybrid with this type of logo.

Cheers,

Nick

That blank spare bit is on loads of the Palitoy cards. The German 45s and Palitoy 45Cs have it - and I regularly see Klaatus and Bibs on ROTJ cards with it (there must be others but I think just the ROTJ characters) - I think it adds to the appeal of the logoless cards

Cheers Andy! I thought i'd get a quick response!

I've never noticed it before! I don't know why but this one just caught my eye and make me think!

I don't know what it is with bibs and klaatus but they seem the most common with the bar

I found this within 5 secs today

Bib fortuna

There is a reason for the black stripe but I can't remember why  On the ESB cards its higher up, so it was obviously a conscious decision to keep it and move it down for the ROTJ cards

Just so you know, that's not a hybrid card. There are only 6 hybrid figures - Greedo, Hammerhead, Snaggletooth, Cloudcar Pilot, and the two Bespin guards. That is just a regular Palitoy ROTJ 65 back. The hybrid cards have a tri logo back on them.

yeah, cheers Edd! I know that now! I thought (wrongly) that if the front of the card had the 4 ages and up bit in different languages then it was a hybrid card

Cheers all for the input and help :D
