Huge Cardback Lot

Thinking of selling these, still need to go through them and see how many and what's there but how much do these usually fetch, there's over 100 I think including last 17 and the odd 12 back, unfortunately a lot of them have the names cut out, thanks

Ok will take some pics tomorrow , didn't realise I had so many , about 200 , mostly Palitoy

Probably about half of them have the names cut out but all the others are good condition

Some interesting ones include , about 5 or so 12 backs, Boba Fett, Luke Stormtrooper, Yak Face, R2 Pop up, Slave 1 die cast

Maybe a stupid question but if a card has Kenner on the front but has the Palitoy address on the back then is that a Palitoy card ?

This would be an ideal lot for me to bulk buy to top up my palitoy cardbacks stall. You'd get rid of them all in one go but I'd have to give you less than you could get selling them all on eBay. There are some good cards in there like the 12 backs which would make it worth my while buying the whole lot. Or yiu could just cherry pick and eBay the good stuff, but then you'll be left with a load of hard to shift cards. I'd be less interested in buying a lot like that as I already have a bunch of the common cads that I've been trying to sell for years.

check the sold cardbacks on ebay and that will give you a rough idea , some of those palitoy cards go for mental money on there ! but its a pain in the ass taking fotos of each card both sides and listing over 100 on ebay thats the downside along with the fees they charge mate , if you want the most cash thats the way to go but if you want a easy quick group sale selling to jason is the way to go , your call mate

That is a lot of cardbacks. The Palitoys are worth more of course. All I can say is I am sure I could come up with some figures for the Palitoy SW jawa cardback for trade.

It's a pretty big list to give an accurate valuation on, especially individually but (and someone can correct me if I'm wrong) you are probably looking at £20-30 (possibly £40 these days) each for the earliest cards with the Palitoy logo present (excluding any HTF variations or main/sought after characters like Fett etc) and any ROTJ/Trilogo cards would probably be around the £5-15 mark depending on rarity.

Condition is key on cardbacks for collectors, especially on the more common ones but on eBay you just never know, sometimes they end for £2 and sometimes for £30..but don'tforget on eBay you have to cover fees and worry about your feedback being ruined by some numpty etc so selling on here might get you a bit less £ but hopefully cause you less hassle.

PS: If someone offers you a "reasonable" buy out offer for the entire set it's worth mulling over, imagine having to post 150+ cardbacks individually :lol:

You really need to work out which ones are common and which aren't to be able to see which are the best ones you have. Hopefully you get some input from Gary/Jason and some of the other Palitoy guys on the variations you have (best get taking pics haha!) which will help you price your stuff a little better.

Condition is key , with the ink marks and name tag removed this will really affect the value . I would batch them together in SW , Esb , Jedi etc , maybe sell the rare ones on their own , with eBay fees , Paypal fees and postage , this will be a lot of time and hassle .

Then you come across non payers , poor feedback, etc see my other thread


I would try and trade on here for loose figures
