Get him to phone me asking the football scores and then see if he can understand a bloody word I say!

My accent isn't even that strong mate, god only knows how you would manage with some of my mates!

well thats going to be funny as ive got jabbas mobile phone number and ive got to ring him to arrange a meet as hes in skegness on holiday this week !! and iam from sunderland originally so i sound like a geordie ( to the un-trainned ear) so iam going to lay it on thick for a laugh!!

I do a lot of work in Newcastle/Durham way so I can understand most broad northern accents. There are a few get me, but 9 times out of ten i'm fine.
Bloody Brummies confuse the **** out of me tho! I had a mate a Uni who was a Brummie and I could hardly understand a ****ing word he said!

Ohh and broad Scouse as well, I'm talking Jamie Carragher style here, that confuses me as well.

Perhaps you could say your from the local fire station telling him that unfortunately his house has been burnt down

I thought Jabba had been quiet recently! I've noticed hes posting more in the other forums now that hes got a camera

I am from Walsall, so almost the black country, I can turn the accent on and off though!

Ohh I can understand him no probs. He hadn't a ****ing notion what I was saying though.
