Guys, been offered a loose complete VCJ in very good condition. It looks legit from the pics and it's fairly local, so can view first. What sort of price do they go for at the moment?

He wants £550, but that's his opening price. I may be able to get him down a little...

Yeah, £500 should do it, it's the going rate - at the moment.

As Rob said, crazy money for what it is but that's supply and demand for you.

£500 is probably a good deal depending on condition. If he sells it on FB I am sure he will get more and even at £550 I don't think it will last a day!

£500 is just for the cape. :D

I bought one about 14 years ago from the US for $180. I sent cash in the mail, it was perfect. I sold it about 9 years ago for £250.

Any graded seem to go minimum £750, probably over £1000.

Got him :)

Well done tracking him down. Looks a good 'un.

Believe it or not I lost one of these around 2003. My collection was packed up and going through it all again just couldn't find the VCJ. It's never turned up to this day and now we've moved house. It was either nicked by a workman in the house or something or is still knocking about in the loft

That's absolutely gutting. Of all the figures to go missing :( Sounds like someone nicked him and new what they were looking for. You never know though, he may turn up one day... Fingers crossed!

The house underwent quite a bit of work over the years so it could have been nicked. Only thing was that he would have been packed in a box so not easily accessible. It crossed my mind that my brother might have sold him as it was a joint owned collection back then. I think i asked at the time. VCJ wasn't worth that much back then. I think it cost me £30 a few years earlier. Long gone now
