How mamy POTF2 figures are there?

The short answer is a lot - like A LOT...
Ignoring the variants and so forth (of which there are a few) I think the basic numbers are around:
Red Cards - 18
Shadows of the Empire - 7 (including the 2, comic packs, so 9 figures)
Green Cards - 36
Freeze Frames - 27
Flashbacks - 11
Commtech - 10
EU - 9
Deluxe Cards - 13
Mail Away - 7 (Kabe & Muftak and Oola & Crumb came in a two-pack)
Millenium Coins - 7
Princess Leia 2 Packs - 4 (8 figures)
Cinema Scenes - 10 (Each with 3 figures, so 30 figures)
EP 1 Sneak Peak - 2
Complete Galaxy - 4
Max Rebo Band Pair - 3 (2 figures each, so 6)
Falcon Carry case - 2 (Wedge and Scanning Crew, 2 figures)
Classic Edition Boxset - 4 figure pack
Creatures with unique figure - 8
Vehicle with unique figure - 9 (AT-AT had two figures in it)
Hong Kong 3 packs - 2 (6 figures)
that makes 226 - Pretty sure that is accurate, might be out by 1 or 2, but it was a big line.

Yes - all but the Luke Skywalker farm boy figure were f re-releases on green card
And then when you get to green cards there is the holo and non-holo stickers etc.

I think that is a little bit under.
There are 56 Freeze Frame cards, 53 Green cards and 26 Red cards, (most figures were on multiple different cards)
I haven't checked all the others that Monkey roo has listed above.
That isn't including the sabre, holo stickers, country and paint app. varients, and don't get started on the different stickers for collectors clubs!
