as i have moved into the garage my lads have invaded my old office and my youngest got a pc and they have put both in this room. i had an ethernet cable and connected both via the ethernet cable but nothing happened. so i then tried to make a locol network and did it on both pc's in the local network section but still nothing.
if someone knows how to do it could you give me a hand and let me know what i am doing wrong.
thanks

cant i just stick a wire between them like they do in classrooms or something
