Just bought a £17 t-shirt and got an £11.40 customs fee!

It's a ****in joke! A complete racket where Parcelforce or Royalmail are just out to make "handling fees" for doing nothing.

My item arrived just now and nothing extra to pay. I paid $18.40 for $80 item cost. And your cost was $16.40 for an item worth £17 that's around $24.
That is alot alright.

Yep most of its the "handling fee". It just feels ridiculous when your customs fees add 70% on to the value of the item.

I can understand the customs fees even if I don't like them. But handling fees are beyond reasonable.
