**** me those screenshots are a blast from the past. I remember the eBay advertising Edd did, not sure if that's where I found out about the forum or somebody telling me. I joined the original forum and then this one in 2006, didn't post much when I first joined, only really started getting involved in the last couple of years. Now I log in at least 10 times a day, especially now I have an iphone.

I posted some pictures of my reseals on TIG last year and then received a message from a member here telling me I should join the UK forum (sorry can't remember who but a big thanks!). I didn't even realise there was a UK forum as the US sites always came up when I was looking for info on original weapons. I'm really glad I did get to find out about it though as it's been good to get to know everyone through here and also see what UK love there is for all things vintage (well mainly but I enjoy looking at all the different sections on here). I still find TIG useful for the guides but don't really chip in to any of the threads on there or RS, one forum is by far enough for me.

Anyway, with all that said, after seeing the picture above I'm thinking of now leaving as there are some scars that will never heal!

Can people stop quoting that horrendous photo please

Was thinking the same lol! I was desperately trying to scroll down to get rid of it, postman just walked by my window probably saw me staring at a fat apple fan boy!!

I can see why you create another forum opposed to RS strict rules. Gotta love the Freedom of speech here.
One thing i recently missed:

RS has the like button, TIG the + (Kudos) thing. But why don't we here have a FUK button, it would be nice to see how many FUK's people give about your post :p

The like button for me reduces conversation. Too many posts would be 'liked' and not talked about.

Yes agreed, if somebody likes what you have said, they should quote it and explain why. Just as I have here :p

Thanks Gary, you're very kind.

This could get out of hand quite quickly
