I was lucky enough to be at Farthest From in Dec where Brain showed off some pages - it is a fantastic looking book:
If Palitoy is your thing I do recommend hopping over and backing this one:

I don't think this one will miss its mark - funding seems to be coming in fast, which is great for them.

I've just received an email confirming this project has now been funded, so it will happen. There's also roughly 24 hours left to take advantage of the early bird deal.

Just thought I'd let you know if any of you are sitting on the fence :)

I think this is more the book for me than the last one (although I did back that one as well). Really looking forward to this one and does anyone know when it's being released as I can't see it mentioned on the backer page (it probably is though lol!).

it Is rattling along nicely - I think the HardBack will unlock soon, slipcase would be nice, but its a big total to shoot for - fingers crossed

I've backed it now as well. I thought I had got it during the early bird period but I think I forgot to confirm the purchase in my credit card app. Oh well.

Yep, backed this straight away and it looks to be flying right through the stretch goals so really hoping for that fancy slip case - looks ace  ❤️

Within 3k of the slipcase - late pledges open apparently- anyone know how that works?

I believe that they can accept pledges right up to the point of sending numbers to the printers.
Seems a bit "woolly" to me, it either closes on the 30 March or it doesn't?
Oh well I suppose it may stop the bleating you get after a project closes of "how can I get one of these"…😉🙄

As said - late pledge is just a chance to buy things after the campaign has closed for exactly that reason, people moaned so much that they 'missed their chance' - so it is a second chance feature. We I used if for Angel Eyes I think it generated exactly ZERO extra pledges :)

I'm guessing the "late pledge" thing is just for projects that do get the backing level to green light, but, they can leave the stretch goals open until it's time to start production ?
Anyways......... glad this flew through the backing process and I'm hoping it gets the slide case stretch goal as it's very close and it looks really nice 😎❤️

I've just received an email inviting me to finalise my pledge. Since I'd paid for the book and postage at Red 5 level from the outset, I didn't think I would be charged anything extra, however I was wrong. There is the very unwelcome addition of VAT that gets added on at the very last moment!

I just completed the same, but had nothing extra to pay 🤷‍♂️

Strange. If like me you live in the UK, I would have expected you to be charged VAT (unless you purchased a lower tier than red 5 perhaps?). Anyway, if you weren't charged anything extra then well done. I wish I hadn't :(
Red 1 Early Bird, which is just the book. VAT may have been applicable for Red 5 for the extras 🤷‍♂️

Did you add any extras other than just the book?
