As a new member I thought I'd just say HI! :D

I have been a SW fan for many years and have collected bits and pieces, sometimes with the g/fs help even though she thinks I'm a geek

After a trip to the car-boot a few months back and spotting a vintage Millenium Falcon, Slave 1 and a couple of Mini-Rigs (all in a poor state of repair) and spending a grand total of £3 my collection is starting to grow.

I also managed to get a Luke Farmboy for 50p (no lightsaber) and an Imperial Gunner for £4 (no weapon) both in great condition from recent trips to the car-boot.

As I clean/get parts/restore my purchases I will start a collection post to show how I'm getting on.

My g/f wishes she had never spotted that Falcon! It's sooooo addictive this collecting business 8)

Welcome to the boards. And yes this star wars collecting is very addictive. My g/f is actually quite suportive and enjoys seeing my collection grow.

And she is a great cook and bakes lots of cakes and pies.

God i am a lucky guy.

hi

some boot sale bargains :)

its quite addictive... i only wanted to collect the vintage run of figures....

then that turned into variants

then that turned into vehicles

then that turned into creatures!

my focus now is to not have a focus!

That's exactly how i started too.

Damn it's addictive, and addiction just keeps on growing!!!!!

Hi and welcome.
There are many times when i wished i hadn't started collecting, especially when i look at my bank balance.
