Hi Im new, have tons of old SW's toys

Hi everyone, Im new to this site, looking for advice etc. I have boxes of the old star wars toys (from the 80's) i just dug up and wondering about best way to try and sell. Not everything is mint, not every accessory is there, but might be of value to a collector. What do u recommend I do right now? I could take pics of everything, is it worth it? Is it possible to sell a bunch at a time in bulk for an agreed price? If you are a collector and are curious, lemme know and i can go thru everything and see whats there, maybe theres some great stuff!!

Well, you've come to the right place to start with.

The very first thing I'd do is take a pic of everything you have so we can give you some rough estimates to start with. It maybe that we see one or two rarities and we might then need better pics.

selling here individually will probably make you the biggest return - selling in bulk might be less hassle but less £'s.

But let's start with a photo...

if you plan on hanging around here with all these great forum members then i would recommend you read all forum rules and post in correct threads there is a valuation thread so you can get some price guides and then there is a seperate thread for sales but as already said you need photos.

Welcome, as said just one group photo will take you a few minutes and enable us to give you a ballpark figure, then you can decide if it's worth it or not.

But isn't life much greater now buying rather than selling

Just think how you would have felt if you had let it go for a few quid which would be gone by now. And you even had a real vinyl caped jawa in your loft!!!

Hover your mouse over the pics and you will see a "cog" symbol in the top corner. Hover your mouse over that and select "Share Links" On one side you will see "Photo Links". Click on the IMG Code at the bottom and paste here Hope that helps.

when you select the picture in photobucket that you want to use on the right hand side will be share boxes the one i always use is the IMG box just click it once and the word copied should pop up now goto the valuation thead and make a thread and paste

Tavis, any luck with the pics yet? Having seen them, my advice would be to keep them like coomber75 did. Will undoubtedly be worth more to you in sentiment than in $.
