Does anyone know if Romba and Wicket had any differences in their spears. I always thought they came with the exact same weapon. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, Todd

Pretty much man :)

I liken it to picking up a spare imperial blaster for a stormtrooper, it might have come on a SW,ESB,ROTJ or POTF card, it might look a little different, have a slightly different colour but essentially its just the same weapon intended for that figure!

No biggy in my eyes really - besides, nobody likes Ewoks anyway

The weapon is pretty much the same, but if you want the correct weapon for Romba, yeah the spear is slightly different and a tat harder to find as a regular wicket spear.

Can you tell me exactly how it differs?
Thanks, Todd

Is it really that big of a deal  Its probably the same mold used for the weapon but since Wicket was released first the Romba one is a bit more worn thats all

No big deal to me. I have probably sold 50 of each without a problem. But now I have a customer that tells me I have sent him a Wicket spear with a Romba. I have no idea how to tell the difference and I want to make the guy happy. It has been a huge headache.

Crikey! I would issue a refund and get the figure back and wash your hands of it lol

Even if there is a slight difference from one to the other its not an intentional or significant change from one figure to the other that the sculptors made , its the same spear for almost the same shaped hand, they didn't have to adapt it ! lol

Wow and I thought I was picky

Why not send him 10 spare spears and let him pick the one he thinks goes with his figure

That's funny that you say send him 10 spears. I have sent him close up pics of 10 different spears. I hope he finds one he likes. He also thinks I sent him a Lumat bow with a Warok. I know that I sent the dark brown one, but he insists it is a Lumat bow. I hope it's done soon.

Well good on you Todd for trying to do the right thing by your customer but it sounds like the guy won't ever be happy if hes bothered over this.

I bet 99% of collectors have no clue there is any difference , much less be able to say which one belongs to which!

Good luck !

I bet 99% of collectors wouldn't care which spear is which, Lumat and Waroks bow yes as an obvious difference is apparent but Wicket and Romba spear are much of a muchness.

hi Todd, supposedly the difference was in the threading at the top of the spear. This bidders was a waste of time, a refund and block bidder was probably best, except for the feedback part. I'm with the above post, it was probably the same mold, just the machines shifted late in the production run.
