Hi guys,

Just acquired this chap and wanted to know if the helmet is reproduction and if the blaster is right. Spoke to Iain and he advised that the blaster should be jet black as opposed to blue/black. Is it just a stormtrooper one?

Not too good on weapons!! Trying to learn!!

Here's the pics... What do you think?

Possibly a price its worth considering views?? Please bear in mind he has a minute chip out of his breast plate and looks as though he's had a skin graft on his face... Still displays beautifully and very white.

Cheers.

Blaster looks blue black mate. Helmet looks ok but can you take pics of the back of the helmet and inside?

Chances are she's put the black blaster with another figure

I've always had my suspisions about this type of blaster not only being included with the "Droids" Boba Fett figure, but ALSO with the "POTF" Luke Stormtrooper fig. I have seen this blaster paired up with him loose once before and once more from another collection that I sorted through and pieced together.

I'll go out on a limb and say that this paticular weapon does indeed go with this Luke Stormtrooper figure.

When I bought it she didn't have any other weapons similar. She advised me very strongly in an essay as I sent a question to her after I received it.

She seemed to be adamant that her husband knows it goes with that actaul figure and he had owned it from new.

Cheers

I think so too, not up on loose figures, but with all the variants and the amount of figures that match up to this weapon, why wouldn't they be put together on the card?

Cheers buddy.

Hi James,

Going by the first link (re helmet) all is good, looks exactly the same... One less concern.

Just not sure about the weapon, looks very similar to the blue/black blaster, but the person I bought it from had two other offers from traders and them seemed to think its was good.

I'm never gonna be the wiser, will just assume its wrong and try and get a black one I guess.

Thanks buddy,

Bram

Here's a shot of my Luke Stormtrooper Blaster next to a Blue/Black one:

It's hard to tell the difference without strong light on them.
