Hi all,

I've had a right time of it recently with 2 computers going down and then having to use my Time Machine backup to get them working which now means I've lost a few things that I had bookmarked. One thing I could really do with is a free youtube MP3/MP4 downloader for getting some reference vids and podcasts taken off of youtube so I was hoping that someone on here might have a good suggestion? Anything that I don't need to DL and can just paste a link into would be great and it's just a shame that I can't find what I used to have as it worked great and i didn't get any viruses from it.

Any help appreciated and thanks in advance,

Ian

I use 'Simple YouTube to MP3/MP4 Converter' which is and add on extension to Firefox browser, Ian. Works great and you can choose to download as a vid or just MP3 if you just want the audio.

Hey Chris,

Thank you for the heads up and I added it as an extension to firefox but I'm not sure what to do now? Is there a link I have to press or something as I can't quite see what to do.

Thanks again,

Ian

No worries, mate. It should add a clickable link just below the video title like this...

Thanks guys for all the help but I can't seem to get any of them to work. It may well be that my operating system is to old so I'll look into an upgrade and see if this helps things.

Thanks again though for helping out :)
