Hey guys, really hope one of you can help me out here, there is an item on ebay thats collection only, but its on the other side of the country from me (how typical), really desperately need this item which is a 1960's circular saw which never come up for sale & my one on the saw table just gave up the ghost this morning & I am sure buying this replacement would work out cheaper than getting it fixed, that's assuming I could find anyone that fixes stuff this old :|

Willing to cover any expenses obviously.

The item is located in Cramlington

Keeping everything crossed in hopes

God I love it when kama come knocking :P

Star boy Richard, I just need to win the auction now, last one went for 12 in January so fingers crossed I get it now with the start bid @ 15 :D

Does not finish for a few days Richard, but pm on its way buddy.

God I love this forum

Thanks everyone

I meant the other ebay auction Frank. The one with Jeff and the baggie. He'll do it for me but he said you'd give me his address.

Cheers
Richard

Sweet been after one of these for a while too thanks for the heads up :P let the bidding wars begin

You guys!, glad I didn't post a link now  I need that saw, fingers crossed I can fix the other one eventually as well, looks to be the contact for the bushes thats gone, which would be an easy fix with new stuff, but this has some right odd twin loop thing going on for the contact which is not even a direct contact, rather a looped spring which goes round the outer housing of the bush sleeves :? but if I get it fixed I will never be in this situation again as there will always be a spare at hand :P

Frank you are too hardcore for us with herds and real log fires. You would wipe the floor with us soft townies

Good luck with the auction :D

I'll toughen you guys up, just get here when its log splitting time & you'll be bursting muscles out here there & everywhere as its bloody hard work, the guys at the forest were dumbstruck when I said I don't have a mechanical splitter & do it all the old fashioned way, not sure what it is but I find splitting logs most therapeutic, just hate sawing, though I do that the old fashioned way with the big stuff as well so no wonder, got me one of them double handled lumberjack beasts, theres always room for extra hands come splitting time though

You can't beat chilling out in front of a real fire though, but god is it a pain in the ass to keep stocked up with burnables .

You can't beat the satisfaction of doing things the way you like it then benefiting from the rewards. :D
