I just didn't want to clog the forum up with hello threads. May seem strange but not a great Internet user. I use it mostly as a resource and not socially.

I'm not really a collector of anything in particular. I suppose I am a general geek. I was a teen when the original movie arrived in cinemas but I was already a Dr who fan, Quatermass, Blake's seven, 2001 a space odyssey and so on. A reader of Heinlen, Arthur C Clarke ( don't get me started on I Robot, although Foundation is very cool ).
I suppose that I was in the zone where parents would no longer buy me toys and I couldn't afford to buy them for myself and so, I never caught the collecting bug.
I enjoy making models but I don't keep them. I just finished a star destroyer and wired it for lights which I am just learning how to do.
I am just not a keeper I guess. I frequent boot sales to supplement my income and I buy geek stuff and sell it to collectors that I know and hang out with.

Nice one, I like charity shops, got lots of bargains over the years, never sold anything, I’m a bit of a magpie
