Yeah.... just a guy being very dishonest. There have been some developments, but it's a slow process. Avoid like the plague!

Hi
Bought a couple of sets of carded figures off him with no problems but....
The last lot I bought did not arrive. Because I had dealt with him before I paid by bank transfer. (BIG mistake!)
He was unable to provide me with a tracking number and after a month still no figures.
He the said he had tracked them down via the post office and that they were being returned to him.
He said he would post them back to me. However he then said all the figures were damaged when he received them back and that he would instead refund us. (minus postage)
Am still waiting for refund but it has not been too long to be fair.
He does reply to emails but am not convinced by his story - I suspect he got offered a better price elsewhere.
I will feel better when i get a refund but am annoyed at losing the postage costs for something he could not prove was posted.

Glen - he's taking the piss mate,tell him you want full refund,did you purchase them through ebay or on a private deal and was it auction?if it was then he didnt like what they went for and is either keeping them for another day or has sold them on for a better price,and also if he does that a few time's he'l end up with a nice little amount in paypal for doing absolutely **** all.
I'm surprised anyone would want to stitch robbie up though,he's one of the soundest ebayers i'v ever dealt with and maybe this ebayer has shot himself in the foot this time.

Glen - at the very least demand a copy of the postal receipt,if he doesnt show it then he didnt post it full stop,then you tell him you want the full refund,i'm guessing it wasnt cheap?
If you have kept all dialogue with the guy then surely you can use that against him,threaten him with police etc...
Its the principal here,doesnt matter if its £5 or £5000,the guy is making money from you and maybe others through postage alone.

Ok has taken a long time but the police have finally acted on this and charged him with fraud 
He has suddenly reappeared again with lots of excuses and is now promising he will refund me (although says he cannot afford to pay me back all in one go and will pay back in installments)
Fingers crossed I will be getting my money back soon.
