Just received this message of ebay and paypal. Whats going on

yes i had that about 2 months ago.....you pay a pund and then thet refund it when you next buy something.....its to verifiy your account i think..i did it anyway and as they said it came up as a credit on my account as 1 pound....?? its to stop money laundring ??

I had the same problem about a year ago after selling loads of loose and MOC AFA figures. :x

yea they are basically checking as well you are not a business. to them if you are just a 'casual seller', you shouldnt be making and accepting more than Ã'£650 into your account. if your taking more, to them you are running a business! think its also to do with tax and crap!!

Am not a business its just a hobby by the time paypal and ebay take there bit you never really make money. Any money from stuff i sell just goes back in. There ****ing happy enough to take my money

i know i had the same problem when i sold most of my collection a couple of years ago. i sold over Ã'£1000 worth of stuff and they sent me the same e-mail. theiving bastards!!
