Happy Easter to all forum members 🐣

In denmark it is easter holiday Thursday and Friday this week and Monday next week. So I am first back at work Tuesday next week. Is it the same in your country ?

Do you celebrate easter ? and how do you do it ? and what do you eat ? in denmark we have easter lunch where families are together drinking and eating a lot Thursday, Friday, sunday and monday. 4 days with a lot of drinking and eating for some people others only do it one day, 2 days, 3 days or all 4 days :ROFLMAO: and then there are also all the easter candy, most of it is chocolate eggs. Then we also decorate our homes with easter decorations or some do :giggle:

Happy Easter Lars. god påske

Good Friday and Easter Monday are the holidays in England

As you say lots of eating and drinking

We usually have roast lamb for Easter Sunday, hot cross buns are a favourite, lots of chocolate eggs as well.

Simnell cake ( light fruit cake with marzipan) is something we eat at Easter

For the kids we usually do an Easter egg hunt as well

Happy Easter All!

Happy Easter Lars, and all forum members! I've found myself working the Easter weekend, it's my own fault... I've been in business the last six years running my barbershop, and the Easter holiday always catches me out on account of it shifting around the calendar each year. When I realised the date it fell on this time around, I checked my appointments to find I was fully booked on Good Friday and the Saturday... 9 hour working days it is, then!! I'll be thinking of you all feasting and drinking while I'm grafting cutting hair and trimming beards! 😁👍🏻 💈✂️

A thoughtful client did bring me a Tony's Easter Egg today, though... I'll be feasting on that in between appointments haha!!

@TC-14 Don't work too hard! I work Easter as well but it's part of life I guess. I'm always a year ahead with Easter as it's such a big impact on family life and work balance. Next year Good Friday is 26 March, almost as early as it can be. Then 2028 Good Friday is 14 April! No wander you end up working.

Thanks mate, and the same to you! A very helpful heads-up… I've blocked out appointments for 26th and 27th March next year… a rare long weekend off work for me. I'm looking forward to it already, haha!

Thanks mate, sorry to hear you are working this weekend. But I guess when you have your own barbershop then you have choosen to work yourself :giggle: I do not think the barbershops are open in denmark on holidays. Great that you got and egg from a client :giggle:

We all got a box of marzipan egg each at work before the holidays from our boss :giggle:
