Hey Guys,

Was speaking to a drug rep today at work and got on the subject of hangovers. They swear by ranitidine 150mg (zantac) before heading out. Apparently it works as hangover cure but the drug company are not allowed to market it for that. I'll try it this weekend and report back.
 
Drink a pint of water before a lash up-it works.

I also tend to take 2 paracetamol before i crash out,and that really helps.I thought my hangovers would cease when the doctor said i could drink anything except red wine after my stroke,shame he didnt know that being in an Italian family that we make our own wine. :D And **** me,that gives a hanging hangover.
 
them mates who poured their drinks in to yours may have put some thing else in ,did you have a sore ass lol

my cure is shove some water down before you go to bed if you can manage it
in morning fizzy pop and crisps then i take dogs out ,come back get in bath and though it will be last thing on your mind ....as todd mentioned hair of dog always works
 
Nick its just a case of getting older I think. I used to be the same, I remember getting absolutely shitfaced on my 18th, was on JD and coke, slippery nipples and a drink my friends made up they called 'Refreshers' becasue mixed together it tasted like the Refreshers sweets!! I think it had 2 shots of JD, 2 shots of Vodka a smirnoff ice and topped up with WKD Blue. A pint at a time and it didnt take long before the world started spinning!! :lol: Really dont think I could drink like that now.
 
Last friday I got shitfaced, started with beer and coffee with vodka, went to the pub and continued with beer and fisherman shots, and at the afterparty
I continued with beer and coffe with vodka..... I DIDN'T GET A HANGOVER!!!!!!!!! That hasn't happened since 2001!!!!! :mrgreen:
 
That's because the adrenaline in your body has not stopped production since you landed the Ledy Stormtrooper, it must be counteracting the hangover! You may also be completely invincible but I wouldn't suggest jumping off any buildings or anything like that..

One of the golden rules I've learned over the years is NEVER to drink cider full stop!

My hangovers have got awful over the last few years, my mates who still drink every day after work ect are usually ok but i can feel drained for days after a binge.

The only thing that has helped me is drinking shorts or bottles instead of pints, im so dehydrated after 8 hour sessions, and with my sugar issues i simply have a vodka diet coke, drink the odd glass of water through the night and eat a microwave meal when i get in lol
