Decided to move these guys on to help fund other purchases and clear a bit of space.

I bought them graded about 8 months before the Toy Toni scandal erupted and going by other members descriptions i think these are likely to be his handy work. They are smooth seal and the cardbacks have the german text on the back. No iron marks though.

Any idea on value? am i best listing on ebay and letting them run? If so has anyone sold on a Toy Toni and found an appropriate form of words to fairly describe them?

Any help most appreciated!

List them on eBay auction style and let them run. Best way to fully disclose the probable Toni scandal is to have a link to 'Mr Palitoy's' website or forum report on this. Disclosed potential Toni's r selling for good money esp the graded examples :!:

Good luck with ur sales.

Yep, what palitoyjuky said. I wouldn't mind picking up a "set" of Toy Tonis as I think they mark a dark but interesting episode in collecting and you also won't find nicer cardbacks. Please do post a link here when you do list them.

They had been doing around 50% of the price of the real deal. Seen some go for more, some less. Good luck with the sales.

I agree with the others but also I would get Jason to have a look at them so your 100% sure they are TT's. Just incase their not. :)

Thanks all for the input, very much appreciated!

Good point about getting them 100% verified as Toni's first...

If I list them I'll definitely post a link here.

Cheers

Hard to verify from just the one photo, but they both look like Toni's to me. Need bubble close ups and pictures of the backs to be sure.

Cheers Jason

has anyone ever opened up a toni and dusted for his finger prints inside?

surely he wouldnt have a leg to stand on once that was proven?

Watch this space. I've been speaking to an ex-colleague about this. Dusting is not possible due to age but there is the "super glue method" that should still produce results. I'm still deciding on an appropriate course of action but I think it's about time one was taken. I don't want to add to all the talk and no action that's gone on before. Not aiming that at anyone here but the likes of Rip Off Britain who had the opportunity to do something about it as well as time and money.

Sounds promising!

this man has left a big dent on the hobbie, it pains me to hear people are actually collecting toni's now??

and also when people say "oh its not that bad what he's done, atleast all the materials he used are genuine"

I'll be pissed if he gets off, made a lot of money conning nice people, total scumbag!

Hi folks,

Finally got round to listing these on ebay for anyone who is interested:
