Han Hoth Variant

Ye I'm sure mines the pinkest variant, another thing I've been thinking about these PBP figures which also fits in with these our Han's is that the pale face ones where made first which is why they are harder to find and considered PBP exclusive. I don't know if the pale face ones are or ain't exclusive but they are found in the UK loose and I'm sure I've seen the pale AT AT driver on a Palitoy Tri-Logo :?:

I think they made the pale face figures first and then later on, when more were exported, pink was added. The At-At commander has a pink face in the UK and Luke Hoth has a pink face in France etc..

Some of the "exclusive" white face figures are found throughout Europe; not just Han Hoth.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that then lol and I agree that some of the white faces are found in the UK and Europe, I've not seen him but I read it some where that the PBP luke Bespin, dark brown boots is a POCH era figure but he's also found in the UK, so they could have been exporting figures from the beginning, My POCH Han Hoth was also found in a small lot of figures in the UK.

We can only speculate, but it seems likely.

Is Luke Bespin a transition figure, like the Rebel Commander? I always thought he was PBP, not Poch. He has no COO, whereas the Rebel Commander has Hong Kong, like Poch figures.

PBP Luke Bespin with dark boots crops up in Germany more than the UK from what I've seen.

Nice score finding Poch Han Hoth in the UK. :)

I don't know if he's a transition figure but wouldn't he need to have a predecessor COO/mold wise, but he's the earliest PBP/POCH isn't he? I can't think of another. The Rebel Commander I always thought he was POCH because of the COO but I've also seen him on a Palitoy Tri card. I still don't know what to make of these POCH figures.

Palitoy and Palker definitely had a good relationship so anything found in the UK is also a Possibility over there I recon.

I didn't find the Han but I know a man who did :D

Found this pale faced Han on ebay which throws the made first theory out the window and also that he's not exclusive to PBP cards, great sticker too that shows he was on sale in the states back in the day.

Beautiful card mate - love it

I don't think it necessarily rules out the theory. He is probably an overstock figure?
I think your right about these being overstock, theres 3 variants of this figure now on Palitoy cards, all with the Tri-Logo bubbles, maybe they where all packed at the same time on cards Palitoy already had available and the last ROTJ cards before changing to Tri-Logos.
