Anyone else doing SW pumpkins this year

They are brilliant!

We've done a darth from a template but I just don't have the patience and bits have kind of blurred :)

My son made a bellum from Zelda with no template which I was impressed by.

Joe - yep, we downloaded transfers from a few different sites, treated ourselves to a proper pumpkin carving set last year and that really makes a difference especially with the small fiddly bits.

Mike your boy has some serious carving skills - the T-Rex is bloody superb, definitely having a bash at it next year :D

Truth be told that's why I havnt carved this year, as he does such cracking ones, ( we are an extremely competitive father son combo  but I know when I'm beat)

Your skills are also superb carving mate

Nice work guys.

I'm an amateur carver. I try every year, but am not great at it. This year, I took requests from the kids, and gave it my best shot. My JW one I'm pretty proud of, even though there's better out there. Never been able to get this much detail before.

My oldest actually carved his own. Random skull design.

My two young ones wanted Jaws and Monster High, so they got a generic great white and the MH logo.

For our larger pumpkin, I wanted to try something harder. After negotiating with them all, my middle child won out, and got this. :D

Just as a bonus, because I'm a proud daddy, here's my two little ones. My daughter is Frankie Stein from Monster High, and my younger son is Godzilla in a freaking amazing inflatable Godzilla costume. I followed behind him, playing Godzilla roars on my wife's phone as he trick or treated, which gave a pretty cool effect. In the dark, you couldn't see his face behind that mesh in Godzilla's throat.
