Had a bit of an accident at work........

Hiya folks, im a joiner, i make wooden windows and doors for a living, my old man has built a company up from nothing, currently employing 7 blokes. He has been retired since August 2009 and now im the "Boss"........

Unfortunately at half five on tuesday i had a nasty accident- i cut three fingers off my left hand......... It hurts like a mother ****er I feel so stupid for doing it and angry with myself for potentially damaging the future of my close family, my girlfriend, and the blokes i employ.

Needless to say ill prob be on here an awful lot during the day time!
To cheer me up though i had the following whilst in hospital:
A loose Sise Fromm
A Lily Ledy 12" Tusken raiders HEAD ONLY- its so so cool, he chucked in some awesome bootlegs for nothing, 2-1B multi coloured, Leia in Purple (?!) Lando Skiff in Blue! They all have poseable arms, but fixed legs, with no markings and no holes in the feet?

Thats where im up to lads, feeling a bit low, but trying be positive about the future. And no, im not going to post pictures before anyone asks :lol:

Bloody hell Ed, did they sew them back on? "im not going to post pictures " can you at least take pictures of the cute nurses? I saw a 12" tusken head on ebay- must be the same one. Well I hope you get fixed soon and they put the fingers back on in the right spots

Cheers buddy, unfortunately it wasnt a clean cut, they were basically minced off :shock:
My mate from work was still there, he found one in the guts of the machine and one in the dust extractor bags but that was really mangled, they did try to put my ring finger on my middle finger but it died and i had to have another operation to have that bastard cut off too!
If it had been a circular saw they would have been easy to re-attach.
Life does have its ups and downs :roll:
The nurses were a mixed bag- two were ace, the rest were bitches! It was funny, because of the HUGE amounts of Morphine i was on, it made me a little windy.
Whilst it was visting time, with all my family round my bed, one of the bitch nurses came to change my piss bag (She was on her knees, face down at the bottom of my bed) I let out possibly the longest duration Fart since records began right in her face! That teach her for ignoring me for an hour while my drip was empty! I calmly said:
"Oh, i didn't realise you were there" She walked out in a strop, everyone in stiches!
Things like that make it easier

It's probably not much consolation but my granddad did exactly the same thing many years ago. He was left with his little and ring fingers on his left hand, apart from having a custom fork handle (which, we thought was dead cool as kids) it didn't stop him much at all.

Cheers mate, and dont worry about me not having those figures- i took out an insurance policy in november, set to get a 4 figure sum. 8)

Weasel- I am confident i will be able to do 99.9% of what i could do, in a years time, but i will definately be back at work just to over see the lads in a month or so.

No mate, unfortunately they had to amputate the little finger, ring and middle to around about the second knuckle. Basically i have one third of each finger left.

Cheers spoons, because im only 24 i hope i can adapt to it super quick.
