I was lucky due to that vectis auction.

Quick look on eBay and i couldn't find micro stuff on there!?

grrr.. i knew it would have been someone on here outbidding me...

It was the vectis auction which prompted me to start. Been thinking about them at some point in the future but seeing so many in one go was too tempting.

There were plenty at Anaheim, but a lot were sealed.. Im only interested in used, in a box, not mint. We should team up spoons for deals from the states.

Happy to do that Pete - I'm not particularly fussed about sealed either. After the falcon, X wing, freeze chamber, Ion canon, Death Star compactor and Wampa cave

Got the sets loose but the kids play with those - the freeze chamber is fantastic

The x Wing always seems very pricey to me, and harder to find than the Snowspeeder

I never wanted sealed, as my plan is to display the box and toy together.

So I would probably be looking for loose version of the 6 I have sealed.

Or maybe open them! :o

So the US may be the only way to go about getting these?

Had my book delivered today and it looks to be a great read. :D

One thing that was a shame about it is that the the print/page quality wasn't a little better and in more of a gloss finish. I find that the images aren't quite as sharp as they could be and for a book like this I'm not quite sure why Gus and Duncan didn't go just a little further with this (can't quite remember the page quality of their other books so maybe it's what they always go for?).

Still a great slice of vintage history and a nice way to have everything in one place.

Ian

Page quality isn't great and there a few errors - photo of Han Solo rather than Fett, but it's still worth getting - very jokey too
