Green snake yoda

Hey guys I bought a yoda titled 'Green snake Yoda' off eBay yesterday, is he more valueble than the orange and brown snake version? And is there even such a thing as a green snake version? Or is it just a faded snake of some sort.

I think that some of the green ones are faded / discoloured ones. But some of them look very green. I'm not sure if a common consensus has been reached yet.

Jury is out on this one - there is at least one 10 page thread devoted to it on RS which argues both points (in true RS style!)

My gut feeling is that is does exist as a variant - in so far as a different mould/material was used to produce it. In terms of value, I don't think that the discoloured one is worth a huge amount more than the other two but is an eBay auction you never know - however, if you can find a true 'green' snake then it would be worth a lot more

I think there discoulored and theres 2 different yoda's variants that have a green snake, one without EPM's that's found in one of the six packs and the other has EPM's on all the accessories like Lili Ledy. There's a picture on TIG some where that shows one thats half brown and half green. Both these yoda's are sort after and go for £50 plus, I don't know if any other variants also have a green snake or weather these 2 can still be found with a brown snake but all the ones I've seen have green green.

This is very interesting guys and thanks for the link Iain, I've just looked through eBay at the yoda's for sale and there is a loose afa one with a green snake, I've also compared the picture of the one I've bought to that one and everything looks identical, the listing was a very poor listing and I managed to bag him for £20 quid as soon as he arrives I will post a pic up of him to see what you guys think, only other question is this, although most weapons float, does a yoda snake float to show it is repo or not?

Hey Scott,

I've only been collecting Yoda for a little while now so I won't profess to be any sort of expert, I can however share some pics of the different coloured accessories that Yoda came with based on what I have.

From what I've seen I can't be sure if it's degradation that's caused it or just simply a different colour plastic. I see valid points on both side but at the same time I have different shades of brown snakes so I find it feasible that it could be a legit colour variation.
The Orange snakes all seem to be made of a hard plastic where as all but one of my Brown snakes are a softer pliable almost rubber like material the other being hard like the Orange one's.

I've only ever seen Repro snakes cast in Orange but that's not to say Brown one's don't exist .

As you hopefully can see from the pics below there are a few different shades to be found in Yoda's accessories, it's a bit hard to tell but all of the snakes are different shades some only slightly and others very noticable. There are also a few different coloured canes with one oddity which is transforming from a brown into a green.

I've also put up a pic of my German 45 back which has a green snake in a comparison shot with my Tri-Logo Brown snake.

Hey Ryan that's a great focus you have there mate, and some great pics, can you tell me mate the two pics of the yoda's inside there bubbles, do they have different coloured belts? Looks like one is darker in the pic, or it could just be the camera shot, only asking mate because sometimes when I buy things off eBay I compare pics that they have to pics on here.

Hey Scott,

Green, Brown and Orange snakes all sink mate, well mine do anyway.

In regards to the belt looks as though it was just the camera playing tricks as they look the same to me, that said there are a few variations with the belts most notably the ledy version which has a circle on the lamp, I think there are others but I'd have to check the TIG thread.
