Hi all I'm after the original 12 figures released in the range in 1977. Hoping to get them mint or near mint so am after ones that have been graded 85 or higher or ones that are still in the packaging price dependant. Have seen graded ones for £85 on ebay but not sure if graded are worth it and if that's a good price or not? Any help?

If you looking graded 85 for sealed moc 12 backs , probably between £1500 and £3500 depending on figures , loose 85 between £85 and £150 depending on the figures . That's the non variant ones

If you're after loose set I wouldn't bother with graded as they're not hard to find in complete and in good condition. Just keep your eye on the sales board and buy from sellers with a good rep.

You should be able to pick up all of them in great condition for way under £85 each.

I just like the graded ones as they are sealed in the containers which i like for display purposes as not after them to play with or be handled

There have been numerous pictures posted on the forums over the years of loose figures that have rattled around in AFA cases causing the paint to scuff on the inside. That's why there are so many different designs out there, because they had to constantly keep looking at ways to make the figures inside secure..so don't expect AFA graded pieces to be perfect.

I can understand you wanting to keep your figures in great condition but they won't disintegrate if you occasionally pick them up or display them just on stands..they are toys made to be heavily played with by kids after all.

Not for me to say but judging by your threads/questions so far you are still far too green to be throwing £85 at anything just yet.

Take your time, loose figures aren't going to disappear overnight.
