Not sure if this has been mentioned on here before but this is a seven hour long :shock: documentary on Star Wars. I'm only 10 mins in and lots of deleted footage form the original trilogy to be seen.

It's by daveytod, the YouTube video seems to be all 3 of this documentaries sandwiched together. I have all 3 of them on DVD, well worth watching.

Haven't seen this doc yet but have watched a few others. When you see some of the raw footage they had ANH could have been a really bad movie. No idea how it was turned around. Amazing really, and it still looks great today.

Glad they cut the scenes out with Biggs and co. They just looked like a bunch of hippy drop outs.

The sound of the TIE Fighter has always been a favourite of mine (@ 0:59:52)... and I'm amazed to find out that the noise was made up from "a slowed down elephant call, mixed with the sound of a car driving on a wet road". :? :lol:

just a bit of advice it may be best to rip this from the site and watch it, especially if you have a broadband download limit lol

im quite happy to stick it on a dvd if you cover the cost of disk and postage guys.

The original fan edits by daveytod or online to download free, the original DVDs he made come with menus, options and bonus material on the DVDs.

I'd recommend getting them, google is your friend.
