Good Soundtracks

Started listening to lots of good soundtracks!

Love film with music by John Barry, Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer and John Williams.

Just saw Game of Death- the final unfinished Bruce Lee movie, completed with a double. the film is a bit of a wreck but the fight scenes are ace and the soundtrack by John Barry is very Bond-ish. Bruce Lee even fights the 7 foot Kareem Abdul Jabbar!!!!!

Love all Spaghetti westerns- especially with Lee Van Cleef, Clint Eastwood and Franco Nero. Sad thing one of the best- "The Big Gundown" is only on DVD in Italian !

Obviously love the Hans Zimmer Dark Knight Trilogy being a massive Batman fan!

Anyone listen to any good film music recently?

16 Candles was on TV last night. It's a film i've never seen before but seeing as how i've always liked other John Hughes type movies I thought it was worth a go. Brilliant 80's pop soundtrack - Spandau Ballet, Specials, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Vapors, etc etc.

As for atmospheric type soundtracks Dredd has a great one. Loads of tough, well suited tracks throughout
