Hi chaps just a quick update had the last of my 2nd cycle of chemo on Wednesday. I've got another pet scan next Thursday which is the radioactive one again then the results the Tuesday after.
If the cancer has gone then the wheels will be put in motion for the stem cell harvest. This involves having a canula put in my femeral artery in my groin and blood taken out put through a machine to remove the stem cells then the remaining blood pumped back in. Sounds fun
I'm starting to suffer with chemo brain a bit so excuse my spelling and I may post random and complete nonsense in other parts of the forum.
I'm taking this all one step at the time at the moment because there is some serious **** that's going to happen on the horizon.
Enough of me rambling I need to full-fill my steroid induced appetite.
Good stuff bro, thanks for the update.
It's a slow process but you'll do it. Two guys I work with have both fully recovered from the big C and have even been cleared to fly again. You can (and it sounds like you are) beat this mutherf##ker.
Keep going dude
