I have just won a recarded lando last 17 for £11.50 with original coin etc which i thought wasn't bad

I would worry about the authenticity of the coin, cape and of course, gun. If all are original then you got a bargain.
If the gun is fake the value of the figure goes down by £15 or so (worth £30-£40 complete). If the cape is fake take off another £8-£10. The fact that it's on a custom card is of no value whatsoever.

Yeah - what Pete said !

I sold a load of recards recently that I had picked up - I was pretty sure the weapons were original but couldnt be certain - as it was they sold for crap prices and I wish id busted them out of the cards.

If anything is original i.e. coin, cape or gun then you have a deal if not then you have not lost much and it will be a good filler until you can get a vintage one

Thats an interesting point. Can you make a claim to say the cape and weapon and coin arent real if you open the figure off the card in this case??

IMO- YES! If i sell you a box of nike trainers and you bust open the box only to find the laces are actually pasta and i didn't mention it... i owe you a refund. A silly example but it makes my point.

Yeah I would have thought so too Pete but I would like to know for sure from ebays stand point before buying something like this.

Well i know from reading something this week that counterfeit goods or parts are strictly against ebay rules. I am not really sure how so many people get away with selling repros and customs. I just don't think ebay know enough about these kind of things and so it just goes unnoticed.
But the whys and wherefores aside if you did put in a claim with ebay/paypal stating that you were sold an item with fake parts i am certain you would get a refund and possibly even be allowed to keep the item if the seller didn't play ball.
Case and point- I recently bought 48 Garbage Pail sticker packs from an american seller. The sale clearly stated "returns only accepted if items are returned unopened and untampered with" This fools most people but i am well aware of how irrelevant this statement is. The seller does not get to dictate these terms selling on ebay. Something i was well aware of even if they weren't. Anyhoo when the packs arrived they didn't look right and had a mouldy oder. So i opened 4 or 5 packs to see what state the contents were in. The stickers inside were all crusty and had brown mould stains on. I wrote to the seller who refused a refund. I then without even responding to their refund refusal, opened a case with ebay who, after 10 days refunded my money including postage in full and i did not have to return the item which as it turned out, had at least half the packs in good condition.

He has now listed loads of loose figures - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Star-Wars-/280793380835?pt=UK_ToysGames_ActionFigures_ActionFigures_JN&hash=item416096f7e3

Do you reckon the weapons are orignal or repro :)

I would say definitely repro. Notice how he shoots the picture only showing the front/top of each weapon in every auction, making it very difficult to tell if it's real or fake. Also, when i description doesn't state if the accessories are real [even tho he clearly know what he's selling having sold a lot of these kind of toys] 99.9 times out of 100 they will be fake. If interested simply ask him to send you a picture of the weapon on it's own. If he gives you some excuse as to why he can't do that... they're repro and he's a scammer.

Cheers Pete! :) I will send him a message and see what response I get! :|
